The Amish Heritage Welcome Center is the first building on your right when you turn onto Brewer Road and is part of the Heritage group of places you'll see. The inside of the Welcome Center has authentic Amish-made furniture and goods made by the local Amish people. The owner of the Heritage Group has several Amish friends who make furniture for him, and there are plenty of Amish-made toys you won't find anywhere else! There is an ATM inside if you need cash to go out into the countryside or when you go on the Amish Heritage Wagon Tour! You must buy tickets inside the store to go on the Amish Heritage Farm Museum and the Amish Heritage Wagon Tour.

Unfortunately, many of the solid wood, American made companies, sourced their product overseas and we were forced to go along with them. Then in 2008, we started dealing with Amish manufacturers in Ohio and Indiana. From 2008 to present day, we drastically expanded our selection of Amish manufacturers that have impeccable quality and huge selections, all at very reasonable prices. Over 86% of our sales are from 75 Amish manufacturers.

Most of the other 4% that are not made in America,are electric fireplace inserts that we build into Amish mantles and cabinets. These unique Garden Welcome Signs and Lighthouses are handcrafted from a Local Amish Craftsman in Northern Indiana with the highest level of Design, Skill, Quality and Materials. From 1981 to 1997, we operated as Nude Oak Furniture, selling a mixture of finished and unfinished furniture. As the unfinished business became less popular, we changed the name to Oakwood Furniture in 1997.
